My mum was killed by a drunk driver on 27th august.
many people in my school don’t understand that its gonna take me years to feel relitively ok, they think its just a matter of weeks.

Thats pretty shit tbh :/ , Did the person get locked up??

sentencing is tomorrow, they can’t get him on manslaughter cos he pleaded guilty to death by dangerous driving. two people were killed but he’s only getting charged for one death. the most he can get is 14 years, but he automatically gets a third of the sentence off cos he pleaded guilty.

any sentence that he gets won’t amount to what we have to live with. i have to live my whole life without ever seeing my mum again.

its fucking ridiculous, in the long haul of it all he’ll only get about 6 years. the other 4 people who were in the car that killed mum got let off. one of them was a 15 year old girl, who was pregnant :/

:( Pricks like that deserve to be hung imo, and just cause he told truth he gets let off lightly?!? thats horrible and im sorry to hear that btw :(

eurgh EXACTLY. the annoying thing is, is that he’s well known to the police, & they know that he won’t feel guilty about killing someone. I’m surprised you didn’t hear about it tbh, it was ALL OVER all the newspapers and tv, we had press & pap’s outside our house for 2 weeks after it happened, & there was loads at the funeral :/
